JonW
Oostburg Wins in Grant's Pass! Yaay Barnstormers! Seems to be a glitch with our score program this morning. Huh? Oh... :lookaround:/> /tease :tongue:/>

Galen
Just 3 events today, as corps get ready to celebrate the 4th of July. Eastern corps will be packed in like sardines at Mt. Hope HS in Bristol RI. Midwest corps march into Ames Field in Micigan City IN. Western corps will be sleepless in Seattle at Everett Memorial Stadium. Galen
Scores from tomorrow's show in Boston will be delayed until 7-5. It is a very special show, acting as both a 4th of July tribute and a tribute to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. Boston College's Alumni Stadium will be the site for this special event. Jothcra
I've been out of the loop for several days, but it's very exciting to see that Euphonium Empire took first in World Class (out of 15 corps!) at Bowling Green on the 29th.
Galen
Scores are up from both Thursday's and Friday's events. A special congratulations to Eruption, Buckeye Brass B and Cross for their wins in Boston and thanks to all of the directors and corps who participated in this event. It gives me encouragement that we can stage similar events on the 4th in the future. Friday's events were particularly competitive, as Polaris Regiment narrowly edged Cincinnati Light Brigade at Perkins Stadium in Whitewater WI and Circle City Sound eked out a victory over Nastalgia Vanguard at McKenzie Stadium in Vancouver WA. Tight finishes in Open Class and Class A also made this event one to watch, with Oostburg Barnstormers and Nastalgia Percussion Ensemble claiming victory by narrow margins in their respective divisions. Euphony Empire enjoyed the only "comfortable" victory of the night (a relative term in our league), leading Ohio Valley Thunder by about 0.6 points. And that leads us to today's events. With regional championships approaching next week, corps will have the chance to compete at some very large stadiums this weekend as a tune-up for those events. Today's competitions are being held at Byrd Stadium in College Park MD, Autzen Stadium in Eugene OR and Camp Randall Stadium in Madison WI. ced3905
Nastalgia Music Project is off to a good start. Lots of stiff compition this season is helping to push us beyond our own expectations. Regional tours are going great and all corps are enjoying themselves.
Galen
Today's the start of a short but very important week of competitions with the regional championships coming up this weekend. Two east coast events at Todd Stadium in Hampton VA and Toms River North HS in Toms River NJ will see the corps that competed in DC heading back to their respective regions, and midwest and western corps will also be in action at Jenison HS in Grand Rapids MI and Joe Albi Stadium in Spokane WA. Tyler C.
I feel very comfortable with where both River City corps are heading into regionals, especially the B corps. We'll be debuting some re-writes later this week that we're all hyping over here.
