hostrauser
Allen HS in Dallas TX Repeat: that's a HIGH SCHOOL stadium. Ah, Texas. Nothing but the best for their bands and their football.
StarOrg
We played our high school football games at the Florida Citrus Bowl (home games). But as far as building a stadium FOR high school football... that's crazy! I see from the pic though looks like they get a decent crowd. Our games filled about 1/365 of the stadium. Galen
I see from the pic though looks like they get a decent crowd. The official seating capacity for that place is somewhere between 16,000 and 18,000... for a high school.
Galen
Today's events: Open Class and Class A corps will be extremely busy today, as I believe every corps in both divisions is competing. Evanston Township HS in Evanston IL is hosting one event, while in Cleveland, the slate of attending corps is so large that event will be split into two venues at Avon Lake HS on the west side of town and Mentor HS on the east side of town. World class corps will be no less busy, as we have a new event taking place at the Stadium of Champions in Hopkinsville KY as a lead-in to Louisville, while down south, a colossal contingent of corps competes at the Kelly Reeves Stadium in Round Rock TX. Galen
Today's theme is small lineups spread out across several venues, including Bentonville HS in Bentonville AR, Veterans Stadium in Erie PA, Cajun Stadium in Lafayette LA, and the Winchester KY event being split between George Rogers Clark HS and Montgomery County HS in nearby Mt. Sterling KY. And a special welcome to two new corps, the White Knights and Phantom Brigade, who made late-season debuts in Pittsburgh and Harrisburg last night.
