Maybe they too have finally learned that rankings really translates as "slotting" and doesn't sell more tickets, that one really can't compare scores show to show while some shows are using short panels and some full, and that even the short panels are not consistent but are rotating captions. Only come Regionals do rankings bear any truth or weight. In sports, like the NCAA's, rankings are more important because of the volitility amongst such a large swarth of teams. In DCI, we have not even two dozen units with little movement. Rankings may eventually relate to performance time appearences at other Regionals and Indy week, but not at this time of the season when so much is in chaotic flux. Maybe they're waiting for all the World Class Div. Corps to start their season, so as to be ranked. Some have not even competed yet. skywhopper Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 DCI has switched to new software to manage the scores, so they may be in process of reimplementing some of their old features to point to the new database.
