What did you not catch upon first viewing?

OK, OK, jeesh. Prism, then.

Had they actually refracted light through that design it would have been a prism, but I won't quibble. Still the most amazing 3-D effect I've seen on the field..evah!

(Blue Coats. Ha!)

I'll be watching you. :soapbox:

Also...okay...it was a representation of a prism.

Happy now? :lle:

Geometrically speaking, the shape they made was a tetrahedron which is a prismatoid, specifically a pyramid, but not a prism. Prisms have to have two parallel and identical flat sides.

:devil:/>

And that's why we generally don't speak geometrically on DCP.

I only called it a prism because one of their staff members did. I was happy with just referring to it as, "That neat thing they do near the end of the show."

I still haven't caught it, but apparently there are some sort of towers in the Cadets show.

I didn't realize until I saw Crown live that the beginning notes of ASZ were played by trumpets on different ends of the field. I also didn't realize the brass run went up and down the line until i saw it live.

I went back to the FanNetwork videos and they are indeed there. You may have missed them because a drum corps kept getting in the way.

I never saw Tinkerbell shove Crown's drum major off the podium until a year or two later. :blink:/>

That was such a cute moment! Loved Tink, that whole show.
