kevingamin
Back to the 70s with My Favorite Things, played in '73 and '74. A similar arrangement was also used by the Sky Ryders in '88 for their Sound of Music show.
kevingamin
Drum solo in the middle of My Favorite Things, complete with drum to drum stick action. Horns come back in with a vengeance on the melody.
kevingamin
And, to finish, the William Tell Overture and the loud insanity at the end. Will they faint?
kevingamin
No faint, but they got the crowd excited, and that's what it's all about.
LegalEagle50
Nobody told me they were going to do Gangnam Style. Complete with somebody dressed up as Psy doing the dance with the guard. Forget Ohio University's rendition, this is MUCH more entertaining. That would be Gary Wada, who not only plays with the Bridgemen, but was in Ghost Riders this year AND part of the Bridgemen brass ensemble!!!!
kevingamin
I hear THE Call of the Bull. That and the heavily sequined drum major can only mean it's time for our last alumni corps of the day, the Hawthorne Caballeros Alumni from Hawthorne, New Jersey. Their 2013 program consists of: Portrait of a Dying Matador/Captain From Castile Copacabana Jazzmerelda The Prayer/Don't Cry For Me Argentina Cha cha Cha Flamenco Cabs Signature
kevingamin
Rumps = Huge applause from the crowd.
kevingamin
Horn line has made their way to the 50, rotated out of their company front and into their files, and are drawing us their portrait of a dying matador visiting his captain friend from Castile. kevingamin
Speaking of which, the drum line is coming forward for a feature. Wicked clean.
