Good post, Perc. But to be honest, I did have to chuckle at the cited line above. Last I knew, athletics ARE competitive endeavors.

Please -- I "get" the gist of your ideas. I'm not being contrarian -- I just found the apparent "athletic/not competitive" wording rather amusing. :tounge2:

Yeah, that does seem funny: the athletic bands exist to support competitive athletics

Marched in TBDBITL. Marched in DCI. Even as a proud alum of tOSU, they'd get absolutely stomped in DCI in every possible way. I loved my time there, but we pretty much moved and played like ####. Al
