Malaguena Salerosa
Are these numbers correct? -each show, regardless of class, lasts 11.5 min -there is 17 min from the start of one corps to the start of the next corps -intermissions last 30 min, regardless of venue

Spandy
I'm thinking the show time is more in the 12 minute range. I thought the minimum was in the 10-11 minute range, but most WC corps choose to go longer (longer show = more opportunities to build up points)

BradF
World Class shows must be between 10 and 11 1/2 minutes. Corps step off every 17 minutes.
geluf
As noted, shows are required to be no longer than 11 1/2 and no shorter than 10. Pre-show doesn't count.

When does the pre-show officially end? (or rather, when does the judged show officially start?) Is it when the drum major salutes or when the announcer gives the final intro? geluf
Judging begins on the announcer ending. For pre-shows, staff members usually either tip the announcer off as to the official start, or are in the booth with him to do so. HOWEVER, should a pre-show run longer than the official set-up time, the clock will start no matter what. That set-up time is set in stone. Lincoln
Which raises another question... When does the pre-show officially end? (or rather, when does the judged show officially start?) Is it when the drum major salutes or when the announcer gives the final intro? The more I try to identify how the pre-show works, the more my head hurts so I stopped.
