xandandl
Great guy, great insights, fun times, and wonderful contributions particularly at the beginning decade of DCI. Even here in NY, Jim's Chicago radiocasts were well received and considered impressive. His honors in the music world on many levels were numerous. Peel Paint
Very sorry to hear this. Besides all he did for drum corps, Jim woke me up many more mornings as the longtime morning host on classical FM station WFMT in Chicago. When a member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra dies, at their next concert, they open with Barber's Adagio for Strings. In memory of Jim, I'm lighting a candle and playing SCV's searing version of Adagio. RIP Jim.
