N.E. Brigand
Really nice article. Perhaps it understates both the number of performers at this show and the number of fans at the typical show (I'm not sure I've been to a show with fewer than 1,000 in attendance), but those are minor quibbles in a very informative piece. It even mentions DCA corps.
Eleran
It's not about fraud. It's about demonstrating professionalism. Any legitimate sponsor might be dismayed to find that DCI lets their promotional material fall so out of date. "If I sponsor DCI for a year and then decide I don't wish to be associated with them anymore, will I discover seven years later that DCI is still listing me as a sponsor?" I agree that it reflects poorly on DCI to have outdated material. But I was responding specifically to the alleged concern that it might constituted "bait and switch", which in essence is a claim that it constitutes fraud.
