I was at finals in 2007 when I was stationed in Cali and the only issue I saw was the whole "hashgate" incident. Other than that, the people near me were pretty excited and well mannered I guess. I was pretty excited finals was on the west coast because that was my first finals since 2000 and I ran into a lot of people I marched with and they had good experiences (from talking to them about it). I think there were just a few bad apples there (except for the hash marks thing) but other than that, I had a very good experience (sans the buzzing lights in the stadium).
