kevingamin
We have a soloist up front playing a Dizzy style trumpet and wearing what looks like a satin version of the corps uniform with the officer's cap instead of the shako. Kind of like old school DCA where you had soloists out front for the whole show.
Soprano Martin
That might be a DCA first, soloist on a Dizzy bell Trumpet!
Brent
finally the horns encroach the bar area for some integrated moments. pit is on the field and is forcing some of the staging choices.
Bucbari
Only four tubas to lay down this classic bass line. I do like that the arrangement isn't trying to copy what's been done by the likes of Spirit and Minnesota Brass. and Reading!
Brent
love the tuning of the 4 bass drums!
kevingamin
Brilliant pink flags in the guard, really filling up the field with color.
Brent
beautiful female guard soloist at the end of Harlem Nocturne!
kevingamin
Pit member is pretending to play a fake upright bass. A little too cheesy for my taste. Horns having a tough time with Jump, Jive, and Wail. Flags have a colorful city skyline and catch the light when spun. Drum line is tight! kevingamin
Guard is putting away the bar as it's last call, switching to sunrise flags as dawn comes to end our night of jazz fun
