According to DCI.org, they are all together at a TOC show on Sunday, July 17 in DeKalb, IL - a week before SAT. (BD, B. If changes solid (and they have been) and they clean (5 weeks left), they can perhaps jump into bronze. From the perspective of a long-suffering Bluecoat... there is joy in 'dancing with the one what brung ya'.There is nothing wrong with a high quality show that doesn't contend. Some organizations have been living by this mantra for years. As more corps contend these days... it is healthy to remember that cranking out a killer show is the first priority and improving a production into a failure is a detrimental practice, at best. It brings nothing but bitterness in the end... just ask James Mason (not the classic Hollywood star from "20,000 Leagues Under The Sea").😉 There is nothing wrong with the Cadets show... It's good... in fact it is good enough to love, enjoy, respect and awe. In a competition of diverse exhibition, winning REALLY isn't everything... in fact, it's barely anything at all. I saw them both live in SC and Bloo is most definitely 2 points ahead. Sully being there is fine. But probably too late. And Hop won't let him get the show right. corpsband Posted July 10, 2016 Share Posted July 10, 2016 (edited) probably why they didn't do the statue make up and can you EVER find something NICE to say - or is it beyond your ability as a biased Crown homer? it wasn't made mean spirited. just funny to see "creepy" costumes waving and smiling that's all. the crowd at disney doesn't know anything about who that band was and why the guard is dressed that way. sorry you're having a bad day! and hey -- they could have worn their warm-ups instead!
