Boston and Crown had amplified voice in 2004, but a number of corps amplified their pits.

It was in regard to the pit that Fiedler, in casting the Cavs' vote against amplification, said something about how the quality of the Cavs' front ensembles demonstrated that amplification wasn't needed for a good musical sound.

Who after listening to "Spin Cycle" could disagree?

I remember when keyboards were allowed in 74.  My brothers hated it but being a big fan of Lionel Hampton thanks to my totally hip Mother I loved it.  Who knew I would be a "Pit" parent later in life?
