Based on how DCA is doing  they are probably trying to find a smaller stadium that is willing to have them.  I am not sure that DCA delivered on what they sold Williamsport on.  This year there will be quite a few less hotel rooms,  I think people may be waiting to see how attendance is to see what getting DCA is worth to a host city.

The numbers DCA promised may not have been the numbers they stated, the point is well taken. The issue would be this- a fair amount of rooms were taken, food eaten, gas bought that would not otherwise have been done over that weekend. I'm sure the Genetti folks at least thought it was a win. I hope the local food vendors at the championship site thought it was a win. I got some pretty good stuff there as stadium fare goes. WIlliamsport has been grinding really hard to recover from a serious downturn, and I'm sure this was a real positive for them.

I'll say it again, I'm not the only one who has said it- the real gripe I do have is the lack of railings for the stadium steps. Lesser gripe, the extra money shoveled out for better parking at the stadium. If certain circles want to call me a troll like they called others for negatives pointed out last year, so be it. A lot of people even older than myself in that crowd and less mobile, the goings weren't easy for them.

Williamsport after the Little League World Series leaves town is dead. Anything DCA brings in is a positive to the city

I have my thoughts on this. I know there have been news articles on Rochester trying to create a favorable situation and negotiate to get it back. I have my hunches... I still agree with you on this. Would discuss deeper off board.
