kevingamin
Small brass ensemble begins on side two around the benches. Ave Maria opens the show.
kevingamin
Mellophones join in from the center of the field. Drum line also comes in from backfield. Nice little fake out as we build to a climax, only to have mezzo forte 16th note runs.
kevingamin
Wind is picking up a little. Not sure how affected the guard will be.
kevingamin
Great unison note by the mellos leading into the impact!

kevingamin
Solo saber toss leads attention over to side two where the low brass has set up on the benches and plays a minor version of Ave Maria. Mellophones and trumpets midfield, playing to side one before facing front for a visual dynamic effect. Slow build to a solo voice from the front ensemble. Now the music sounds ominous and maybe a little hellish.

kevingamin
Snares with a lot of flash during their feature. Tenors pair up with the rifles, who nail their toss at the end before the basses take over.
kevingamin
Tubas open the next movement with a tango interpretation of Ave Maria. Baritone soloist with mellophones accompanying.
kevingamin
My guess is we’re now dealing with lust, especially considering the flags and the guard uniforms now feature dark lavender accents.
