craiga
I remember that I first met Ryan G at a winter camp in Maryland as the corps was rehearsing for Obama's second Inauguration. He had arranged the parade tune, and that was January of 2013. So I am thinking he may have joined the team in 2012.

I'd be curious there's been a few notables over the years but I'm thinking 2012 was his first year. In 2020 I believe , in the music for all website that he maintains it had that he was in his 8th year of arranging for Boston. I believe Ryan took over from Jay Kennedy https://education.musicforall.org/clinician/jay-kennedy/ Also, I believe JD Shaw wrote for them at one time. Some other's I believe also wrote for them. Jim Prime Jr.? Larry Kershner? Jerry Noonan (1980's) notable North Star soloist. @craiga probably can provide more detail. I know the dci yearbook lists them but Boston wasn’t always fortunate to get a page

Also, in 1990, we had, believe it or not, Jim Prime, Larry Kirshner, AND Robert W. Smith each arranging parts of our 50th Anniversary show. Robert wrote the ballad, which he named "Sunrise at Castille".

I'm just a high school show designer on the downside of a mediocre career. 😀 But over 40 years of doing that....
