Nice Bacchanale rhythm in the drums before the final statement of the opener.

The Skyliners make great use of soloists and small horn ensembles, really showcasing their top players and maximizing their sound.

Third movement starts with the horns playing backfield, then turning front. Snares play on brushes and the rims of their drums for an underlying rhythm to the ballad of the show.

Great recovery by the saber soloist who rainbow tossed but stayed with her equipment and nailed the catch.

After the final impact of the ballad, a lone mellophones comes forward to play while the rest of the corps returns to backfield for the final chords.

Just now, Jeff Ream said:

Sky improved a lot in a week

Considering where they were in July, they improved A LOT the entire season.

Percussion feature. Basses first, followed by snares, then the lone tenor player. They now all join together midfield with the guard behind them on flag.

Once again, starting with a soloist, then a trio, then the full horn line. Sky continues to play to their strengths.
