sburstall
In the past I have talked about creating a senior fantasy DCP. Well after spending time this weekend, it looks like the DCP-Associate will be coming to fruition. So if you are considering a senior corps, then this is the time. I haven't come up with a guidelines but they will mirror DCP-I, except you will be using senior corps caption values AND the captions are a bit different. So it you want to see what these sheets look like go to Drum Corps Associates. There will be a parallel weekend circuit as well as some junior shows that will allow senior corps to participate (besides the regionals). Watch the board for more details... elementwrx
Woowie!!! This is gonna be fun B) Are we going to do a live season or start with a beta test season from now until june? After all, we all have to get adjusted to how the system works, without having to deal with which corps are better - since most of us aren't well schooled in DCA
DCIjazzsoul
This sounds like a very interesting induction. I for one would love to learn the ways of DCA and would compete in this type of league.

sburstall
I can run a beta run if you want. It will have to be a quicky one. I can work a bit harder and have it ready in a couple weeks.
sburstall
I can sense that many of us, myself included, are going to need a good primer on DCA scoring. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well I did put a link the he DCA sight so you can see what the recaps look like. The math isn't as straight-forward as DCI. Edited February 8, 2005 by sburstall
elementwrx
Yeah, maybe if we had a short season, like say six weeks or something, just so we can get a gist of the math involved with DCA, and such. You'd probably need to post a little tutorial, since I've looked into it, and the DCA math for scoresheets is MUCH more complex than DCI.
