WOOHOO
very anal, find something fun to do this weekend. Want me to pick apart every unintentional mistake in Spirit's show this year? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Actually, the only reason I mentioned this is because I am a sax player by trade. It's really not that big of a deal; just a little joke.
oldsoprano
Tjis comes up every six months or so....but it's always fun!Al Chez -- trumpet for the David Letterman band -- Garfield Cadets, soprano, early 80s...posts here occasionally Chad Sexton - don't remember what band he's in...86-87 Sky Ryders, Snare Carla Azar -- drummer for Autolux, 84 BD, snare Scott Cuthburt -- ORIGINAL drummer for Everclear...84 BD, tenors And no matter what anyone tells you -- Madonna did NOT march Bridgemen EVER....that's something they would DEFINITELY hype if it happened....debunked numerous times... <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Carla Azar also marched Spirit of Atlanta, as did Beth (Hardcastle) Gottlieb (classical percussionist in the Orlando area; married to Pat Methany drummer Danny Gottlieb), Scott Collier (the drummer for the 90s rock band Brother Cane) and Chris Martin (currently principal trumpet with the Chicago Symphony). Bluefan
I heard a while back that Danny Carey of Tool marched Phantom Regiment...any truth to that?
Hulka
Glenn Kotche marched snare in the Cavaliers in '89, now drummer for Wilco. I marched with Glenn in high school and was at U of Kentucky his senior year... you'll never find a more laid back, cool guy. And for the ladies out there, he posseses the Kavorka so watch out! Orpheus
I remember reading that George Takei (Star Trek's "Mr. Sulu") marched in the Koyasan Buddhist Temple Boy Scouts back when he was a kid in the late 40s or early 50.
