I was going to sy, nice of Daewoo to let you paint lines and the corps logo. Would save a lot of time & chalk each weekend.

We're not practicing there anymore Dan - apparently, they're building a hotel on that lot this year or something. Aw, no more blacktop. :)

Buh bye shin splints!

Anywhere we can! Seriously, usually at our sponsor's VFW post when it isn't rented, or an American Legion in the Baltimore area. Back when we did field drill, we would practice in a huge armory during inclement weather. Armories are great for the room but the backlash from the drums was terrible and one time there was an intense thunderstorm outside. Combined with the drums (thunder and drums were NOT in sync), the horns were getting out of step. We couldn't tell what was the drums and what was thunder.

RCR from Sacramento can take the heat and practices at various sites around greater Sacramento, CA. We normally use Sac. State indoors in winter (like now) and then go outside to the local H.S. during the stretch leading up to field shows. Usually it is River City High or Del Oro or whoever we can get a field from for the day. Come on, 110 isn't that bad.... If there is a field we use it. When there isn't a field we inprovise... Hopefully this pic comes out it is too funny.

Being that it is a Christian school we have to be respectful of school rules when we are on campus,,which includes no smoking,no drinking,no swearing and clothing must be not too reveling.

I can't promise that the swearing part is going to be 100% adhered to or enforced but we will do our best not to let anyone hear it.

That last part about the clothing is going to be very challenging for the guard this year.

there is a difference between revealing for the sake of shock value and revealing for the purpose of being able to spin comfortably, not over heat, etc.

i would think the school facilities manager would know the difference and not complain.
