ZSDAvenger
Not Oakland....Oakland is the GHETTO!!!
wolfgang
Don't be surprised if finals is in Indianapolis around 2008 or 2009 when the new Colts stadium is done. It will have artificial turf and a retractable roof, so if it's not raining it will be outdoors, and if it is raining or lightning, the show will still go on. Plus, there are more than enough hotel rooms around to handle DCI.
Wildabeast
I didn't read the whole thread through, but I suggest Univ. of Washington's stadium. Its steep, close to the field, and the field is astroturf...not to mention, Seattle is a beautiful city....and if I recall, the parking lot if sufficiently large as well. SEATTLE!! Not Qwest Field?
Wildabeast
The New Cardinals Stadium In Glendale, AZ. A retractable roof, hello.... As long as my shoes don't melt from the time I leave the car to getting to the entrance to the stadium.

zachariaswmb
What in the world does box 5 mean?
raphael18
Has to do with the levels of achievement on judges sheets - box 5 is the highest level of performance A quick joke - What do box 5 and box 1 have in common? "There is NO recovery." =) Really though, I know LSU has a crazy nice stadium - but all things considered, including the hurricane, it just doesn't sound like a good idea. I spent 2 of the worst weeks of my life at a housing site in southern Louisiana in 02...lets just say it gets a bit on the warm-side, and boy is it humid. However, the people down there were so nice its unsettling, really really nice.
Phirefenix
Not Orlando. That's all I care about. The venue sucks, the security is downright rude, and I hated getting rained on. In short, Orlando is teh suck.
MiamiSun76
I think Kansas City deserves another shot, but that's just me. At least I'm not pulling for St. Louis (I am a realist). But St. Louis has a dome. B)
MiamiSun76
LOL you joke, but DCI was in Miami in 83 I believe. I wasn't marching thank god, but I heard it sucked LOLWhile I am a fan of madison and midwest, I could vote for atlanta as I live here LOL And the summer climate difference between Miami and Atlanta is........... Oh yeah, Miami has sea breezes to blow away the humidity once a month.
