ffernbus3
They put something in the water at Pismo Beach on Jan 1st. It was 90,000 gallons of raw sewage. That's why I missed the following weekend's Kingsmen Alumni Corps practice: sick...and not the funny kind. I'll be there on Sunday, though, Mike.....keep the big print music handy, OK, pal? I'm still squinting though the jaundice seems to have backed off some. What's the catch of the day? I'm thinking Hep C at the very least. Surf's been better since then.....water is still cold at around 50 degrees but the poop smell has long since left and we got our old Clam stink back. ffernbus3
Those otters were unhappy....and I haven't seen a dolphin all the rest of the month. Most of the human sea life is doing better, too, a lot of us had a rough go of it there for about a week. RON HOUSLEY

In all of the time I've lived here, 46 years, I've only ever seen whales beach themselves as far as this old mind can remember. Now twice in 2 weeks, dolphins have done this. They were able to save I believe 4 of them, it's just the saddest thing to see. We have had some very rough seas and I'm not sure if that may have brought them in or confused them. Either way, whale, dolphin, otters, any and all is very sad......
