PR_ducky
I would pick 94 in a close call over 86 and

TommySopranoContra
1997 was ####-clean though, so it deserves mention (and Night in Tunisia kicked complete ###). I don't know how many times I've said this, but I only like 1997 for that AMAZING performance of A Night in Tunisia. I'll add a tie in with 2003 "The Phenomenon of Cool"

dckid80
1980... M&M style that floated Larrie playing those awesome solo's The Infini-trill La Suerte - hands down the best concert chart ever written All in all for me this show is the pinnacle of Old School DCI. BbTrpt1
1. 1986 - oh my god!!! My ears are still bleeding 20 years later! 2. 1994 - a return of the BD "swagger" 3. 1982 - never saw it live, but I listened to it so much that I probably wore the cassette tape out, plus Jay Long is my hero B) Edited February 4, 2006 by BbTrpt1
bd5times
Favorites? Hmmmm, that's hard to answer. 79 - Pure power in that hornline. I loved listening to the opener and La Suerte. I can remember thinking, how in the world does the alto line play those parts. Isn't that supposed to be impossible? 80 - I saw this corps a lot before they headed on big tour. Each time I saw them added to my drive that I had to be in that hornline. That was my singular goal during the 80 season, to be in the Blue Devils horn line. I had to be in that hornline. 94 - WOW! 86 - Classic! Fun to see my friends belt out a grand slam.
