Favorite All Male Corps

Recommended Posts

There have been a number of threads on favorite all-girl corps which, lead me to try and think and remember who were some of the all-male corps.

Madison and The Cavaliers are the two remaining ones.

Kilties (is the DCA version all male?)

I think Argonne Rebels.

My corps started out all-male, but added girls soon after.

What other corps were all-male?

The junior version of the Kilties was all-male until 1978 or 79, I think.

The senior Kilties (different organization) is co-ed. I don't know if they were always co-ed, but they are now and have been for some time.

I do remember Kilties adding girls the last couple of seasons to try and save the corps.

The Argonne Rebels were a mixed corps through out most of its 30 year history. In the early 70's, they relied on talented female members. Only the color guard was all male.

Shawn I'm totally NOT trying to hijack your thread, but I have a question:

What might happen if a corps was to start up now days that was intended as "all male"?

Would it be accepted? Or even possible? Or even stand a chance?

We could make it a seperate thread if I'm shoving my way in here ...

Accepted as in guys wanting to join? Or accepted as in girls not suing to join?
