Do you like the new Blue Devils uniform?

yes.. at BD you are allowed to be an individual and experience life. some corps are very strict, making the guys shave, be very clean cut. its just that corps style and look.

I still don't like that uniform.

They're much better with the scout design in contrasting colors rather than a different shade of green than the green jacket.

Does it really matter whether or not someone does or does not like the new uniforms? It's still BD, and when they start playing I don't think anybody is going to care what the uni's look like.

I agree - but as an old drummer, the only visual things I really pay attention to on the field involve sticks. Madison and BD - whatever I think of the uni's (which I'm afraid isn't too much) the music will be there.

I remember I didn't liek it much when I first saw it, but my college roommate at the time was a marching member with the Scouts. He told me that when the unis were first unveiled, everyone really liked them. So I decided I could give them a shot, too. Now they've become one of my favorites, I love how crisp and sharp they look agains the field!

Maybe BD '06 will go down the same way? Could happen, I guess.

Didn't we have this same discussion with The Cadets last year? It seemed really unpopular last year but they definitely made it work.

As long as The Blue Devils utilize the uniform properly on the field, I'll be happy.

I saw the "blue view 8" and it had the corps in uniform ( for pictures and the show). I personally like the change. It's subtle yet adds to the overall look of the corps. It helped to lengthen the body which is what you want on a field.

Once I saw the group shot, I liked it. It has

a nice punch to it. But individually, it does

look kinda like a track suit.
