Lancerman07 Posted July 16, 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2006 (edited) Sorry...didn't see them, but he doesn't have enough spots for the top 11 corps (BD, CAV, CBC, PR, Bloo, SCV, MAD, GMN, BAC, Crown, BK). Unless he's saying one of them aren't going to make finals, he has 11 different corps in the top ten spots and that was confusing me. 90'sMelloguy Posted July 16, 2006 Share Posted July 16, 2006 My opinion based off nothing except reading captions, posts and my own personal bias, which if I relied on 100% would have Phantom winning for the next 3 years straight to make up for the years they got jobbed (read 1989):1. Cavaliers - high scores right now; history of toughness, creativity at finals 2. Blue Devils - highest score currently. 2006 is year of sweet horns 3. Bluecoats - moving up fast. read #2. sweet horns 4. Cadets - technically marvelous, but judges finally mark down for crappy amps 5. Phantom - tough final position, but great show 6. SCV - their constant movement moves them into 6th. 7. Madison Scouts - suffer mostly from excellent corps above them 8. Crusaders 9. Crossmen 10. Spirit 11. Blue Knights 12. Colts Next 3, Outside looking in: Crown Glassmen Blue Stars Crown doesnt make finals but Crossman, colts, and spirit do? Not Likely. Crown is REALLY good this year. They could easily be top six. my predictions: 1. Cavies: I am still hopeful 2. BD: I think the judges at somepoint will question the design of this show 3. Blue Coats: They could be flipped w/ PR 4. Phantom: Might be third 5. Cadets: I wanted to put crown here but tI think that will be too much of a stretch. Cadets are just so talented 6. Crown: Great drill, great guard, and a cool show. That should be enough for top 6 in august 7. SCV: This could be a flip with crown. 8. Blue Knights: good year for BK 9. Madison: they have gotten much better in the past week. Guard is still a mess and the design is a bit clumsy at times 10. BAC: I have not seen them yet. They could be alot higher than this 11. Glassmen: I am really not impressed with this show. performance will get them into finals though 12. Blue Devils - Weaker brass this year. Will peak in early August. 3. Cadets - they are still the Cadets. 4. Phantom - Based on last night's spread. I would rather have Bloo ahead, but... 5. Bluecoats - An amazing show for them, but they still need better design. 6. Crown - Love this show. 7. Santa Clara - I think them and Crown will go back and forth.
