JMS0527
they should have won brass & drums in 2001 - I am still scratching my head about that one. However - the "show" lacked some GE IMO and I think that hurt them big time The Cadets did win percussion...but yeah that hornline was phenomenal
dbc03
Your review was not the only positive review of The Cadets. You're right. HOWEVER, no one else has yet to go on and on about how this show could win a championship, or how this and that was superior to every other corps. I guess the majority of reviewers must of have just failed to see it, right? I wasn't at Allentown, but I was at Westminster. I can tell you that when this show is cleaned up it will be very hard to beat. Whether or not you like amps or singing or vocals, this show is very good and the spread between them and Phantom is accurate. At Westminster, despite what some may have you think, most of the crowd really enjoyed the Cadets show (At least near me), which just goes to show that DCP is not the end all of the drum corps world. So to sum everything up. This show COULD win a championship and it is superior to every other corps that was at Westminster by leaps and bounds. PS - I haven't seen BD or Cavies, but I would imagine that their shows COULD win a championship also, and are superior to every other corps that they are currently competing with by leaps and bounds.
