festive
That's some crappy weather. Is that mess anywhere near the show site?
blueorginal
Not that this means too much but if you go by how each PR and Blue did against BD this week and the spread between; 1 Blue Devils 89.450 2 Phantom Regiment 86.850 Difference 2.6 1 Blue Devils 89.700 2 Bluecoats 87.300 Difference 2.4 looks like its gonna be a barn burner with Bluuuuuuuue squeaking it out
blueorginal
and judging by http://www.weather.com/weather/map/USLA048...mated&day=1 Looks like Mother Nature, thunder and lightening are trying to crash the competition again
Reauxbee
That's some crappy weather. Is that mess anywhere near the show site? Monroe and West Monroe are divided by the beautiful Ouachitau River. I just refreshed the radar and they are in the middle of it... My 86 yr old dad was going to be at the show. If euphjock is still on .... he is the Head Band Director where the show is going on. gotta try to contact dad
willyc
I hardly think an increase of .9 could be considered a "fluke." Spirit had a 78.45 in Battle Creek, then a 79.3 in Louisville, then an 80.2 in Jacksonville. Perhaps they are just getting about a point better each show, maybe? Why would you think it's a fluke???? How about just giving them the credit they've earned. Anything can happen tonight, but I'm with oldsoprano. Looking at the progression of their scores over the last several shows, would indicate that they are steadily climbing. Could they get a lower score tonight? Sure. But to frame last night's score as a fluke is somewhat ridiculous. If you look at the historical scores for Spirit in J'ville, I don't think they don't indicate too much of a 'home field advantage'.
