Piper
I don't know about SUTA and I never asked a Cav what SPLOOIE meant. Of course I'm naturally curious, but I figure it's their businuss, so I don't go there. :)

Chris Scott
SUTA (State Unemployment Tax Act). Joking of course. Was doing research for a client and came across SUTA on the top of a tax page. Thought it was a big funny. Maybe this is what it really means and Regiment is just ####### with everyone. Someone Usurped Tennile's Aspic? Michael Boo
On Saturday afternoon, I was doing some interviewing for DCI.org at Phantom's rehearsal. Some of their tubas has "FUTA" on their gym shorts. Turns out they ordered a pair of "SUTA" shorts for all in the section and their section tech, and the printer got the order wrong and printed up "FUTA" in big letters. I said I thought that should become a tradition with the tubas. Some are embarrassed to wear theirs, but it does give them something to claim as their own.
