The Tsar
i think they should have! play it. dont say it...! No, but I hear they tightened some points. (pet peeve of mine: loose = not tight, lose = opposite of win or obtain)
johnweldy
Silly DCP'er and your logical thinking...corps don't lose points for MISTAKES! ^0^
Tekneek
It's hard to lose points for something that isn't even on the sheets, I suppose. Not that I want a category for it though, because then everybody would have to do it.
LAMystreaux
How do we know they did not lose points?
PR_ducky
If they didn't, they should have. If a designed element of your show is not executed it should cost. Throw it in with ensemble music. Voice should be considered part of the ensemble if it is going to be used as a musical voicing. At least that makes sense to me.
PR_ducky
Silly DCP'er and your logical thinking...corps don't lose points for MISTAKES! ^0^ Actually, this is 100% correct. Corps do not lose points for mistakes. They just don't recieve them. There is a big difference. Under the tick system you started with 100 and lost points for mistakes. Under the current system you start at 0 and earn points as you achieve the designed elements of your show.
Musicman1084
How do we know they did not lose points? Because we're not on the tick system. Corps do not "lose" points, they are awarded points.
WLCBonr04
I think they would be awarded less points in the GE area because it definitely takes away from the performance when there are issues with the Mics.
