Orpheus
So I just have a little general discussion question for everyone who is past DCI age. If you were under twenty-one again and gearing up to audition for the 2007 season, which corps do you think would be your first choice and why? kusankusho
No hesitation for me on this - Vanguard - bassline. Done! As for why - it's Vanguard. What else needs to be said? Edited August 17, 2006 by kusankusho

Jocko the Wonder Llama
Trooper all the way. I would love the chance to be part of the return of a legendary corps.
Murph
BD, unless it's a yowza year. Then I'd go Madison.
usmpiano
If I'm playing soprano, I'd go out to Crown or Regiment. If I'm in the pit, I'm saving airfare to go to either Denver or be with Regiment.
The Tsar
100% without question regardless of circumstances, show, or year: Phantom Regiment. Now, if I were told I could not march there, my only other option, regardless of circumstance, show, or year: Santa Clara Vanguard.

Orpheus
To answer my own question, I'm pretty sure it'd be Carolina Crown. For one thing, I love the sound of their brass line. They may not be technically "the best" when you go by the criteria on the sheets, but for the past couple of seasons, the sound they produce has really blown me away. That, and I've really enjoyed their shows. In addition, from all the anecdotal evidence I've heard, it seems like they really provide a good quality experience for their members. I'd just have to keep my fingers crossed and hope they aren't gonna sing like in '04 ...
