Kamarag
I was sitting at the endzone, therefore could see the main crowd, and the only enthusiastic ovation I saw was for Cabs. from one side to the other everybody was on their feet going nuts from the pinwheel to the end. The only exiting moment of the evening. For me anyway.. I think it was that way for a lot of folks. I liked Cab's show too, and was really amazed at how far they came from where they were at Wildwood back in June. Personally, I really loved what Minnesota Brass was doing (it was easily my favorite show of the year). I thought the crowd liked Gold's show, but it might have been a combination of "liked" and "was the first open class corps to perform". JKatzmellophone
So......it has to do with the fundamental pitch? Overtones? I think most can agree that there is a difference. Can anyone actually analytically describe the reasons for this from a physics perspective? I think WAyne Downey addresses these issues in his Brass Advantage Forum!!
