Guizeppe Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 I just ordered my quarterfinals and finals tickets, so I am ready to go for what could be the greatest year in DCI history!!! A question: What 5 hopes or desires do you have for the 2007 drum corps season? As for me... - I look forward to the reaction of the Eastern corp's members as they are greeted by thousands upon thousands of fans who have waited too long for them to come visit. - I can't wait to see the VK organization back on the field (the return of Magical Mystery Tour b**bs ) - I hope to see the Academy stay on top of their game no matter what division they decide to compete in (hopefully D1 so we can see them at Qs) - I hope to see more shows designed for all fans to enjoy, not just us die hards who enjoy anything corps related. - I look forward to taking my daughter to her first drum corps show, even if she may never remember it. bawker Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 1) Crown in Top 6, Coats in Top 3. Phantom winning; or Cadets (see #3) 2) More corps all across the board, no matter what division. Division II/III Finals becoming a big draw thanks to more excellent corps like ECJ, OC, AA, Spartans and so on. 3) Cadets coming back with a show that goes back to basics, so to speak...a la 1987 from 1986, and just maybe winning with it. 4) More shows that excite people at every level of the activity, from casual fan to seasoned vet....something for everyone. 5) The Troop making a big return and becoming a serious contender for Finals again very soon...love to see 'em in Semis this year. 5a) 2007 Madison Scouts re-awakening the San Andreas Fault line with a show to rival 1995, 1997 and 1999. Seeing Mystikal do very well in Div. III 4. Another great run to the finish by numerous great shows 5. Madison coming back with a earth-shattering, crowd beloved show. Wildabeast Posted September 8, 2006 Share Posted September 8, 2006 1) All 5 of California's Division 1 corps to make the Top 12...and that one of them takes it all. 2) That no corps in any division sit out the 2007 season. 3) That every corps in every division makes it to California. 4) The SF Bay Area Regional to be held at the new Stanford Stadium. 5) 25,000-30,000 (####, let's even shoot for 40,000) in attendance on Finals night. Cadets come back with a kick ### show. 3. Cavaliers have great visuals (oh wait, that's a given lmao) 4. Raiders regain Div III title or gain Div II (I just love me Raiders :P) 5.
