The corps is serious about broadening (and deepening) the staff at the caption head level. Howard is making some great moves, imo.

Was Wayne in Toronto Optimists or Seneca Optimists, or Both? (Toronto Optimists merged with Seneca Princemen around 75, I believe).

For more on Wayne's background (or maybe I'm just not seeing it after I see all the "Cadets" hullaballoo), he was also the head brass guy for Oshawa Rebels in the early 80s and then the Kiwanis Kavaliers from 85 to 89, helping tremendously to get us on our way to being a competitive entity.
