txtubadude
Some are lighter so to say, but the center of weight is rather unbalanced in some. It is all a matter of weight distribution really.

Today's kids would never know the thrill of a Vista-Lite iContra. They have to carry those metal things. :(
MikeD
Probably getting heavier... Actually, the little anti-gravity widgets that are encorporated into the horns makes them VERY lite-weight these days.
jonnyboy
Although I am a drummer, I've heard the more air you put through them the lighter they are. Kinda like an airplane wing.
Snapettes Mom
Although I am a drummer, I've heard the more air you put through them the lighter they are. Kinda like an airplane wing. Good one. lol. One of the Snapettes fine traditions was to have the 12 man contra line do their signature horn lift. They would gently lift their red rubber bell iContra's to their knees then slam them down with a mighty wooomph bouncing them high in the air before letting them come down to a gentle rest on their shoulders.
