Just Another Sop
We now have five drum corps in Drum Corps United right now. Two more and there is that magic number.
drumcorpsbari
Note: My comments/opinions are those of my own, not of any corps I am, was or ever will be affiliated with. That being said, DCU has appeared to be a group to help corps watch out for one another; help keep corps around, which I am all for. So this may be a stupid question but, is DCU going to be a completely separate circuit from DCA and DCI or will the founding members of DCU remain in their respective circuits, or remain in DCA or DCI for a short while before moving to a separate circuit (i.e. give time for DCU to get off of the ground running)? just curious. Mistress Kelli
So... much like a certain defunct Midwestern circuit, might individuals join Drum Corps United? If so, count me in... We are Drum Corps United - if you want in... you're in. :)
Scerpella
We are Drum Corps United - if you want in... you're in. :) Someone has already mentioned it but I too think it would be a good idea to open it to all drum corps, junior and senior. I would love to see a competing circuit, one with a different philosophy and priorities than DCI and see who does best. Problem of course as DCM learned, DCI wields a very big club.
