They used to make us walk down past the bowling alley to that school (even made us take down the seats from the scaffolding every day) for reheasal. In 02 Andy had us treck the length of the large parking lot I think you're talking about. Most of the corps slept in the bingo hall (with a fair few staying at the Zeinert house). [in fact when the Marine drum and bugle corps came out for a parade they stayed in the bingo hall as well].

Did you guys get to play at Taco Bell in 03 and 04?

no we didnt do much publicly. linnie was never told about taco bell until later in the season. )5 we were scheduled to do a couple of showings there. In 04 we practiced in the church parking lot. Last season we were going to practice at UW Fox Valley because the church was sold.

I remmember this one really creepy school we used for camps - the mascot for the school was the Zephyrs.

Well, down in the poorly lit locker room they had a bunch of these really creepy paper-mache angel guys. I remmember them vividly from 01, and I think 02.

That's a shame about the taco bell show, they actually had a guy dress up as a giant taco and attempt to conduct the corps...lol.

In 02 we did a show at a local Grecian center...they gave us enough pizza for us each to have two! (Since we were ending everydays, it didn't last long).

If you remember in 04 they werent supose to be on the field. Last year dci didnt put them in many shows.To make up for that Linnie, scheduled alot of hometown performances for the. His goal was to get the community interested in the corps again. Its ashame he left, and the corps didnt come out, alot of things would be different in that organization.

the swagger was certainly in place after the 94 title, but I guess swagger doesn't get the bills paid

As of late August Paul J was on the board of directors. Its a safe bet he is still there.
