Hrothgar15
Really I do enjoy the cadets 95 show but I could never say that was a clean show when the melophones wipe out going into an arc. Probably one of the reasons why they didn't win that year. That, and check out the last set of the opener.

I'm not sure either of those shows were all that clean, at least in comparison to what they were up against.

bradrick
My short list. There are probably others, but these are the standouts for me: 1987 Santa Clara Vanguard. Nobody was touching that drumline (I know they were outscored by Garfield, but I thought SCV was the best drumline). And nobody was even close to touching that rifle line. I wonder what sould have changed if colorguard had been on the sheet back then... and one of the best hornlines I've ever heard live. 1988 Blue Devils Absolutely amazing to listen to live. It was like listening to a large professional jazz orchestra. From a musicality, uniformity and phrasing standpoint, The 1988 Blue Devils hornline was definitely one of the cleanest I've ever heard live. It was absolutely beautiful the way all horns in each section were following the same "arc" or phrasing and it was extremely hard to find individuals poking out of the texture of the music. You could just sit back and let it wash over you.
