My fun picks go like this:

1. Phantom- Ripe for a title.

2. Cadets- Liked what I heard from a clip and seem to be back to normal for 07.

3. Bluecoats- Momentum is on their side.

4. BD- Always a title contender.

5. Cavies- Billy Joel? Boredom of winning has hit Cavie Town.

6. SCV- Must improve hornline to stay in 6th.

7. Blue Knights- Can't wait to see what my Denver team is doing.

8. Crown- Crown vs. BK 07 will be a fight all season long.

9. Glassmen- Waymire with the brass, expect them to rise!!

10. BAC- Not packing the same type of corps as the turn of the millinium.

11. Colts- They've been strong each year and deserve this.

12. Crossmen- Texas was a good move and the young corps will thrive.

13. Scouts- Going to regret making the moves they did.

14. Spirit- Show designs have been too simple and the rest of the field has caught up.

15. Blue Stars- May make a serious run at finals.

My predicition: A hotly contested drum corps season with some surprises ahead. This is the first year I can remember not having a clue what to expect going in. All corps have become so good that anything is possible year in and out. How fun is this season going to be?

1st Blue Devils - They want another championship, really, really bad over in Concord.

2nd The Cavaliers - To good not to be in the top 2...even if it is Billy Joel Music.

3rd Bluecoats - They are trying to do stuff over there that no one has done before, and they are hyped up!!!

4th Phantom Regiment - I enjoy this corps' sound every year. It will be close between Phantom and the Bluecoats.

5th Santa Clara Vanguard - They know what they are doing for three years, and hopefully they will build for a championship in 2009.

6th The Cadets - After listening to George Hopkins say they want to push it so far out the box, I'm worried. However, with many Cadet rookie returns, who knows.

7th Carolina Crown - Back at the top where they should be.

8th Boston Crusaders - Wayne Dillon...Brass Coordinator...enough said.

9th Blue Knights - They fall a little short this year because of some stiff competition.

10th Madison Scouts - I'm unsure of this corps because of the many staff changes. But, who knows how good they could be.

11th Spirit of JSU - I thing their show this year will be different for them, a good different.

12th Crossmen - San Antonio will welcome you with open arms.

13th Glassmen - They fall after 2-3 years of so-so shows and not so good music.

14th Blue Stars - They pass the Colts because of another good show up of people.

15th Colts - This year, they lose somethings that will be missed

Thats all I know about the placings...quite frankly I only care about the top 12.
