Jeff Ream
Jeff,Don't despair. There will be a Chambersburg, PA DCA show on July 7th at our new stadium at Chambersburg Area Sr. High School. It is going to become a favorite venue for corps and fans alike with concert seating for up to 4800, brand new "real-feel" turf and oodles of practice sites & warm-up space available. With it's easy to reach location on I-81 (20 minutes North of the Maryland border and 45 minutes South of Harrisburg), we're hoping to become a show that fans from the South and North East will enjoy going to year after year. i will despair...............i'll be at the beach :P

jware
one thought tho...i do question running so close to Allentown that weekend. i cant imagine DCI East helping Not disagreeing Jeff, but MapQuest puts the trip from Chambersburg to Allentown at 2 hours, 20 minutes or 132 miles. There are tons of drum corps fans in the northern Maryland, south central Pennsylvania area that don't get much of an All-Age corps fix very often. I'll go out on a limb and say that Allentown's show will be huge, as usual, and that Chambersburg will be a great success as a first year contest. And ya know, they can still go to Allentown on Sunday to catch the juniors! The people at Chambersburg are very exited to have the drum corps come to their home town. Wait till you see the new stadium at the school. This venue is AWESOME!! Jerry
