Me thinks you're right. I didn't until after I posted!

I know there are limits to how many corps you could list in the poll, but on the other hand why be exclusionary against those that go back further than the 25 figure in the comments - unless of course you're planning on another poll for #26-50?

Pittsboigh? I never knew that the Rockets were from da Bronx! :lolhit:

Seriously, I enjoyed the Rebels. Too bad however, they could never afford to have a full matching set of uniforms!

Aah, and the Rockets! The beautiful and emotional "Summer of 42" really caught the story that lied behind it (of young adults spending the summer of '42 on Nantucket Island) and it still plays in my head from time to time.

My vote would be for Yankee Rebels for sure. (I'm an former-Marine) But what about the Ohio Brass Factory? We knocked heads with Steel City, Empire, Erie, Guelph, and Westshoremen for a couple of years and were knocking on the DCA finals door with a couple of 13th places. (12th would have got us on the records) There have been a great many good corps in Senior that have come and gone. But I would love to see Rebels back on the field and shaking it up.

I'm for that!! ^OO^ However (my husband included) can no longer do drill. At the moment, we have 3 members in the hospital. On it goes. I would like to see us back for sure but it's hard getting newer members since we are so far out of the loop. I do think our competitive years are over (an understatment) but it would be great to do it one more time! We are still alive and well in the Alumni Corps circuit and lovin it.

I'm not sure what if it means anything, but I was a member in 5 of the corps listed, and was also with Ohio Brass Factory(not on the list, but mentioned) and with Cru, who took a year off and came back.

It has gotta be the Matadors, although Westshoremen would be a close second.
