Matthew
When Emerald Regime has two titles we'll be sure to listen. Tri-Color is more fun anyway and they would never do a home and garden show. Signed... The members of Mystre, two time DCPI Champions. Tri-Color has placed below Emerald Regime for two seasons now. Emerald Regime is nothing but sophisticated in every aspect of performing. While they may not have won any "rings", the corps has managed to place in the top 3 twice recently, earning high General Effect at finals for the past two seasons. You can gloat about the amount of "rings" you have won, but I recall you were supposed to win a 3rd one last season, and flopped. I guess the judges are getting tired of the same ole status quo coming from your program coordinators. My corps do shows that are designed for the members first--and not the corps directors/staff egos! My corps are founding corps to the league, and will always have a special place in the fans hearts (ala SCV, Phantom, etc) Number of championships won means nothing, especially when you have no class as foundation to your organization in the first place. Stop trying to be like Blue Devils, because we all know Blue Devils have way more class than that--you are disrespecting Blue Devils, by TRYING to be like them! CloudHype
Well the members invite you to come by the corps hall. You can touch tie trophies if you want. Also... 10 th place but we never missed finals. Edited January 3, 2007 by CloudHype
Galen
Methinks the smack talking is going a little too far here...

CloudHype
If Matt was not a friend... I would not do this much smack. :)
CloudHype
Ok... the kiddies are in the sack now. I think they are ready for the season now. Mr. Smith... I Mr Hype would like to invite both your corps to a social with Mystre. The way I see it... the former corps director and you worked together well, we should too. Matthew
To be honest, Tri-Color and Mystre have more in common than we may want to think. Both corps are top corps with a lot of rich history--and both have "off" seasons last year. With their placements, you can expect the directors and staff of both corps to put fire under the organizations. I personally would also like to see Menagerie return! No hard feelings are taken, we know how you Mystré cats are. The social will have to be after we finish our European tour. Tri-Color will do well this season, we have a great membership, with several vets from a few seasons ago coming back, along with members who were part of the Cascade Christian corps. Much talent here! Emerald Regime does part of a West Coast tour, then heads back toward the Plains to close in on the season.
CloudHype
YEAH...you know how we are. We talk smack but only because we want to fire the rival corps up! We want to be the best but also want to beat the best. Also Mystre members would like to remind people that last years finals performance was about Mystre not placement. It was the last show ever for the corps... and they had a chance for 3 in a row. They choose to let it fly!
Percussion827
PRK's ready for this little inconvenience... Not to mention the other MAPS ensembles are mad about the dismal placements last year and will be back to be the cocky boys from the East that they have and always will be.
