lnavis Posted March 19, 2007 Share Posted March 19, 2007 One that I still remember was Denver 1977 or 1978 (can't remember for sure). I was in the crowd on the sideline and at the end of the Retreat they had fireworks. Well, they didn't go as high as they should have and there was no wind so pieces were falling on the corps on the field and those in the stands. I remember watching as the pieces landed on the Caviler's "marching" tympanis and burned holes right through.
