BMBob
Yeah - I know I have never personally heard a Chase tune on the field in DCI.
tommytimp
Rob McConnell-TO, The Waltz I Blew for You, Start With Mrs. Beanhart, Schlep It Up to Joe, A Tribute to Art Fern, good stuff there.
liebot
Invitation to a River is a Chase song that transferred real well to the drum corps field for ECJ in 98. I think BD could do a good job with it.
Einstein On The Beach
Huh? "Another"? What corps specifically have been playing (or over-playing as your post implies) Bill Chase tunes? ECJ was the last junior corps to play any Chase, and that was in 99. Freelancers played a Chase show in 93. Not one Div 1 corps in 14 years. Wow, you must really hate Bill Chase. Bill Chase's music is a joke. #### good trumpet player, but nothing I'd exactly want to listen to. Duke Ellington though....well that just goes without saying. The man was obviously a complete genius and his music reflects that. A corps (BD, whoever) really does need to play Chinoserie or Dimenuendo and Crecendo in Blue. You're doing the world a disservice if you choose Bill Chase over that.
DCIHasBeen
How about "Channel One Suite Revisited"?
Legalhack
How about any tune from beginning to end.

pistolpete
This I Believe-California Style We screwed up with the Yowsa show in 2005 We thought we had a surefire winner with The Godfather in 2006 Lets get back to basics and win # 12 in California with an in your face horn book and a take no prisoners drumline(getting rid of the Dynasty drums would help)

We played some chase in 84 & 85, and I think Florida Wave played a chase tune in the late 80's as well. But other than that I've not heard much chase on the field. But I'd personally love to see some.
