jbabymusic
PS - I almost picked up some ankle weights at the store before, for our euph players! b**bs (That's a GREAT idea, Jonathan! THANKS!!!) More than welcome, though I'm not sure you'll be thanking me later for it. :P For mouthpieces, I use my 51D on the lead part. Most, if not all of the section is on 51Ds for consistency sake.
Euphscott
yeah but are you playing lead parts on it??? man 'o man thats tough work!! No - I am playing third parts on the field - but I do play lead trombone with the 1 1/4G. Yeah - not really the brightest move, but I found it easier to stick with one piece than to shuttle back and forth.

I got one of those Sterling Plus bells so it cuts through, no problem. Plus I'm just LOUD. Oh, was this about putting leads on Euphs? No way will I ever lug one of those around. ^0^ ^0^ ^0^

GuyW
Leads on euphs?? Dunno, I'm looking forward to hearing how it sounds. Personally, I like listeners to be confused as to whether they're hearing french horns or lead baris...but then I play an Ultratone P/R with a Bach 12C.... :)
