I have a question

Recommended Posts

I received my 2000 DVDs today and suddenly remembered that this was the year of the "death" of bugles. I then thoguht of how *much fun* it must have been on message boards like this in late 99 and 2000.

So here is my question:

How many people swore off drum corps 7 years ago, but still listen/go to shows today?

I just wonder really...

Worst decision ever made ..... but I'm sure there's something about in on RAMD. If you can still find it online.

I just remember being really jealous of the Bb hornlines, even though I enjoyed playing the G Bugle. It just didn't seem fair that the Bb lines in 2000 could play more comfortably. Now, I was in the minority at my drum corps at that time, but I really hoped to play a Bb instrument at some point.

Cadets and BD went first.

Cavaliers and SCV followed in 2001.

Bluecoats and Crossmen in 2002.

Phantom didn't switch until 2003.

Madison in 2004 (?)

That's about all I can remember these days.

bd didn't sound like much of a "bad decision" in 2000.

with that being said, i wish i played a G horn and had the ability to march while they were used.

Crown switched over in 2001 as well.
