raphael18
Cavies 02, last chord of the ballad. Not only that note, but the progression leading up to it - from the company front on, was very nice in terms of quality and musicality. [Too bad you had to be on the lower level to hear it that well :) - I still got my shot in] Also of the top of my head: PR 91 - when they are in the heart facing backfield, just amazing. BD 98 - not mentioned often, but I love the ensemble work inthe beginning

chris ncsu
...Cadets 84, particularly in Make Our Garden Grow ... (it was 85) YES! That was an AMAZING ballad and such great quality, cutoffs...
jwscv87
Definitely Suncoast 85, that's a great hornline.. Suncoast was good in 85, but IMO they were even better in 1986. I think that was the pinnacle of those great hornlines they had.

contrajedi8
I have to be honest. When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be mostly "blah, blah, blah, Phantom Regiment, blah, blah, blah."

Meaghatron
I have to be honest. When I read the title of this thread, I thought it was going to be mostly "blah, blah, blah, Phantom Regiment, blah, blah, blah." Maybe if the topic was about loud hornlines. tubamann
Not saying your wrong, but I didn't have too much of a problem with them....and Crown didn't have a problem. I can tell you the trumpet players at Crown like the Xeno's a heck of alot better!
