Hrothgar15
“throw four songs together and connect them with some drum effects”
Meaghatron
And I’d have no clue it was Billy Joel without being told. I knew they should have stuck with "We Didn't Start the Fire"!
jjeffeory
I knew they should have stuck with "We Didn't Start the Fire"! Didn't you hear "Uptown Girl" in there? I swear, I heard it....
MJN
There's no narration in this show. The Cavaliers will never use narration, and neither will Phantom Regiment, and that's why they are two of my favorite corps.
MJN
I've seen Madison and PR live this year. Heard this recording.... Gosh, they all sound pretty good. I'd have to say Phantom and Cavies books are up there. Add Cadets after just seeing some of their line
MJN
I have no doubts in the Cavaliers abilities after Jim Casella and the rest of the percussion staff has had a year to get everyone adjusted to the style and technique change they made last year. Agreed -- props for the book nice tuning of drums too
blitzcon
Agreed -- props for the booknice tuning of drums too YEAHHHH tuning! Notice how Casella goes to the Cavaliers and is now on Yamaha drums and how the tuning stayed the same as the Cavaliers' tuning has been for a while. I'd have to say the way the Cavaliers have tuned their drums for at least the past few years is my favorite out of any corps.
Slow Adam
Okay, is no one else hearing the combination of SCV 1997 and 1998 ending?

Meaghatron
I think The Cavaliers are using live animals in this year's music! Listen really hard around the 8:55 mark (of the entire clip). Props to them for REAL innovation.
