DCI Finals 1996, 1999, 2000

How do they announce the scores when there is a tie?

What was the reaction of the crowd when a tie was mentioned? I specifically would like to know how the reaction was in 1999 as the champion corps were merely a few miles and a bridge apart. I honestly wouldn't know how to react because I like both.

dci had a audio clip of the 99 1st place tie being announced not too long ago. If you dig through the news section maybe you can find it. Its pretty cool.

In 2000 a "no more ties" chant was maintained for a sustained period. It was even revived for a caption tie.

SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV! SCV!

that was the response in 1999, no?

In '89 I hung a California state flag from a railing. Some Cavalier fan attempted to remove it.

One of the greatest years in drum corps history with four California Corps in finals.
