bill Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 From what has been mentioned by Corps Director/Program Coordinator Scott Stewart in meetings, The Kilties already have 09 (and 2010) fully planned/outlined; musically and visually. I've had the pleasure of hearing the Kilties 2009 show already, along with hearing the visual design concepts and expectations, and it's very, very powerful and (in my opinion) quite exciting, challenging, but yet extremely "fan friendly". Typically, most of the music itself will be to the members at the December 6th and 7th first camp/evaluation weekend, with the balance following just a couple weeks later. Quote
John M. Johnson Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Well, I don't think we are "possible newcomers." We DID compete last year. We just did not head up to Rachacha for finals, however we do have 2009 our show. And that's all I have to say about that. Quote

Kansan Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 (edited) Hey, Don't forget Prairie Sound! We will be attempting to break out of exhibition status and join DCA. Recruiting is going well. We had 8 members June '08 then 12 August '08 and now we have 23 on the membership rolls. We are expecting to reach 30+ by our October 25th Rehearsal. Larry should be by to give you our '09 Show Scoop. The Horn Line has already put in 5 hours on the opener between the small sectional and full corps rehearsal. Edited October 2, 2008 by Kansan Quote
